South Canterbury Pipe Band Championships 2025

JOIN OUR PIPE BAND

• Requires learner pipers & drummers – age is no barrier

• Learn piping as a part of the band & or a solo activity

• Learn the highest level of drumming available

• All equipment is supplied at no cost per person. An equipment bond may be required.

• All equipment issued remains the property of the Timaru Scottish Society Pipe Band.

• Free tuition in piping & drumming is available by experienced tutors.

• Weekly practice & tuition – Wednesday evenings – 20 Barnard Street – Timaru CBD

• Society rooms provide great facilities & environment for all learning & practice needs

• Do need to be committed to achieve ones aims & goals.

• Become part of an age old Scottish tradition

• Society membership $10.00 per year.

• Entertain & perform for as part of the Scottish Society activities & in community events.

• Pipe banding offers so much for one & all, as part of the Society.

• Experienced players are always most welcome

• For one & all age is no barrier.
